Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the GoTerapia platform ("the Service"), operated by Gonzalo Rojas ("the Owner"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Service Description

GoTerapia is a SaaS (Software as a Service) platform designed for comprehensive management of psychology and therapy practices. The Service includes, among other functionalities: appointment scheduling, digital clinical records, automatic reminders via email and WhatsApp, integrated video sessions, patient portal, billing and invoicing, AI-powered reports, and professional website.

GoTerapia is exclusively an administrative support technology tool. It is not a healthcare service provider and does not participate in the therapeutic relationship between the professional and their patients. All clinical care, diagnoses, treatments, and professional decisions are the sole responsibility of the therapist or psychologist using the platform.

3. Registration and Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account using Google authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

Upon registration, you will be asked to complete an onboarding form with professional data such as: full name, professional title, specialties, license or professional registration number, tax identification, phone, office address, country, city, mode of care, languages, and optionally a professional photo and biography. The professional is solely responsible for the truthfulness, accuracy, and legality of all information provided on the platform. GoTerapia does not verify, validate, or guarantee the authenticity of data entered, including but not limited to: professional license numbers, tax identifications, academic titles, or any other credentials. Any consequences resulting from providing false, inaccurate, or fraudulent information are the sole responsibility of the professional.

4. Plans and Payments

GoTerapia offers different subscription plans (Basic and Pro). Prices are expressed in US dollars (USD) and may be subject to local taxes depending on applicable jurisdiction. Payment is made in advance, either monthly or annually according to the selected plan. We offer a free 14-day trial period without requiring a credit card.

5. Trial Period

The free trial period lasts 14 days from registration. During this period, you will have full access to the platform's features. Once the trial ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. Data generated during the trial will be retained for 30 additional days.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your control panel. The cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not issued for partial periods of use. After cancellation, your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted.

7. Patient Data and Confidentiality

You are solely responsible for complying with the professional confidentiality laws and regulations applicable to your therapeutic practice, including professional secrecy. GoTerapia provides the technological tools to store and manage clinical information, but responsibility for the content of clinical records, session notes, and any patient data rests solely with the professional.

Clinical data stored in GoTerapia is your property and is protected with encryption in transit and at rest. GoTerapia does not access, analyze, or share the contents of your clinical records with any third party under any circumstance.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for legal purposes related to the professional practice of psychology or therapy. You shall not: use the Service for illegal activities; attempt to access restricted areas of the system; interfere with the functioning of the Service; share your access credentials with unauthorized third parties; or reverse-engineer the software.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, logos, and content, is owned by Gonzalo Rojas and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use the Service according to the plan purchased.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% availability of the Service. However, scheduled maintenance or updates may occur, which will be notified in advance when possible. We are not responsible for interruptions caused by factors beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

GoTerapia is an administrative management tool and does not substitute professional clinical judgment. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gonzalo Rojas will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including data loss or any loss resulting from use or inability to use the Service.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified by email or notice on the Service with at least 30 days advance notice. Continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

This website and the GoTerapia platform are administered by Gonzalo Rojas, identification number 17.025.721-9.
